Fireflies on the Sea Glimmering Glimmering (oil paint)
I took this photo in Florida during the weekends. I took these photos by the sea, because that's the most convenient place to take landscapes. When I took the photo, I noticed that the glimmers on the sea turned red in the picture, which is really interesting. I picked this composition because it adds more depth.
Palm Trees Clear Skies Clear Skies (oil paint)
This place was also in Florida. I chose to take the photos directly from the bottom because then the people and buildings won't be in the photo. I picked to take these palm trees because the skies were really clear and the trees were pretty, and you can't see them in Michigan.
Peeking Through Roots Roots (oil paint)
I chose to take pictures of this tree because the branches grew in a really interesting way. The sun was also peeking through the leaves and branches, which I thought was really interesting. This is why I chose the composition in the first photo. I didn't take a picture of the whole tree though because then there would be people and buildings in the picture.
Sea Beach Beach (oil paint)
I took these photos at the beach in Florida. I chose to take the sand, rocks, and the water instead of only the water because then there would be more dynamic to the objects. I really like how these photos came out, because I really like to take pictures of beaches.
Winter Snowy Hills Snowy Hills (oil paint)
I took these pictures when I was sitting in my dad's car, and then I saw how pretty the landscape outside is, so I rolled down my windows to take these. This landscape has a lot of depth because the trees are different sizes. One difficulty was that the car was moving too fast, so it was difficult for me to find a good composition. To solve this problem I just spammed the shutter button and then picked the ones I liked the most.
