Planet Jujube (Color Halftone)
This is a jujube. This object is important to me because I really like to eat these, and they're really healthy for you. I picked this object because the texture is really unique. To take the picture, I put the jujube on a white table with a white background, and tried out different positions and forms. I also removed the top half to reveal the inside, and then made the contrast more clear. I personally really like how these pictures turned out.
Trapped Frog (Crystalize)
This is a crochet frog I made. I picked this object because it's very special to me (it's the first crochet I made). To take the pictures, I tried out different angles and tried placing it in a bag. I also used the white background for this. Lastly, I made the picture brighter and more vibrant, and then crystalized the second picture.
Blooming Wither (Mezzotint)
This is a paper flower my friend made for me, and I put it inside a jar. I picked this object because I think it's pretty and it's fun to take pictures of glass. I used a grey cloth background for this because I think it'll make more contrast than the white background, while not being too distracting. I tried out different places to put the flower, and I like these 2 pictures the most. I then made the colors brighter for more contrast.
Reflection Video Game (Mosaic)
This is the spoon I use to eat. I picked this object because I like how it reflects the lighting and the contrast. I put the spoon on the marble kitchen counter because I like the texture, and I think the background fits the spoon really well. Taking a picture of this was pretty hard, because I needed to make sure that my reflection wasn't showing in the spoon. I made the picture contrast more in photoshop because that makes the spoon pop out more.
Rock Blue Duck (Pointillize)
This is a rock my brother gave me. I picked this object because it looks goofy and the texture is nice. I put the rock on a dark surface because it'll contrast more. I tried many different angles when taking these pictures, including zooming in to only take parts of it. Lastly, I edited the photos in photoshop and pointillized the second picture.
